Well, it’s pretty simple really. When you take your Ford to the Ford Dealership, your car is inspected and repaired by technicians that are required by the manufacturer to have hundreds of hours of training to be certified by Ford Motor Co. just to work on car.
Every year, Ford develops new technologies. These new technologies are for the car and there is also new testing equipment for better diagnostics.
This equipment is expensive and the training is only offered to Ford Dealership technicians.
